Hey everyone! I missed you last week. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and absolutely ate your faces off. I know we certainly did! We feasted on pretzel bread stuffing, cheesy broccoli casserole, incredible bacon-roasted sweet potatoes, the best pumpkin pie I’ve ever had, and so much more. It was an incredible Thanksgiving! Now, of course, I’m already in full-blown Christmas baking/nesting mode. I waste no time when preparing for my favorite holiday!! Here are this week’s Foodie Favorites.

Sometimes, with all the pumpkin pie and pumpkin cake and pumpkin muffins out there in the world, it’s pretty easy to forget that pumpkin is…a vegetable (well, it’s technically a fruit, but you know what I mean). You know, like a healthy thing with nutrients. That can be used in other ways besides being covered up with butter and sugar. I know, CRAZY, right?

I have a strange love for beans. Not that enjoying beans is weird, but when you tell people you LOVE beans? You get some strange looks. Beans aren’t one of those things that you think of when you think of your ultimate-desert-island-favorite-foods, ya know? And I’m here to tell you I think that’s completely unfair.

New Year’s Eve is tomorrow, and in honor of the pending holiday, I thought I’d make a quick, easy, and fabulous party dip. I’m not going to lie – I’m totally a stay-at-home New Year’s Eve-er. The idea of paying $150 for the “privilege” of spending the evening surrounded by sweaty, drunk people at a random bar (not to mention having to keep my heels on ALL NIGHT) is definitely not my idea of a good time.
