Classic, no frills Dreyer’s mint chocolate chip with a plastic spoon. Just the best!

Hi guys! How’s your week going? We’ve been having some seriously California winter-weather here – lots of rain and temps actually below 50 (gasp!!) so we haven’t been up to too much besides LOTS of couch time. Which sometimes is just the best, right?! Here are this week’s Foodie Favorites!

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, and this slow cooker corned beef and cabbage looks like the perfect accompaniment to fudgy chocolate stout brownies!

These peanut butter and jelly fudge brownies look unbelievable. I just want to peanut-butter-and-jelly-fy everything.

Sweet and Spicy Bacon Brussels Sprouts

It’s officially November, and you know what that means….

THANKSGIVING!!!

I can barely contain my Thanksgiving excitement until the calendar flips over to November. It’s just the best, smushiest holiday ever and I love all Thanksgiving food so much. (Besides cranberry sauce. Cranberry sauce can go.) It’s a critical rest from indulgence that allows us to rally for the rest of the year and enjoy baked brie and champagne cocktails and Christmas cookies to the absolute fullest extent during the holiday. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, after all.

Foodie Favorites – October 22, 2014

foodie favorites - october 22, 2014 // my bacon-wrapped life

Decorative gourd season is here in full swing, and I am lo-ving it!

Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed last week’s roundup of German food + beer pics in lieu of Foodie Favorites. Now we’re back in action with a ton of links!

Have you seen this pizza cake? The classy side of me is like “GET A GRIP” and the trashy side of me is like “MUST MAKE THIS IMMEDIATELY”. It’s Jekyll and Hyde in here, I tell ya.

This bacon butternut squash and Brussels sprouts mac n’ cheese is basically all my favorite things in one. My two favorite veggies in the world + cheese + pasta + buttery Ritz cracker topping + BACON? I’m soooo in love.
