Missing these incredible Seattle dumplings this week! Vacation food is the best food.

Hi friends! How’s your week going? We’ve been keeping super busy around here and are planning on enjoying a low-key Valentine’s Day this weekend with a fancy homemade dinner, a bottle or two of wine, and maybe some Zoolander 2 (every woman’s dream, right?!). I can’t wait!! I hope you have a fun day planned with the people you love most, too (and maybe some sexy pink donuts). Here are this week’s Foodie Favorites!

I am totally drooling over this brown butter banana pudding. I love banana pudding, banana cream pie, etc. and the brown butter absolutely takes it over the top!

My soul is craving this spaghetti pie with pecorino and black pepper. I think this needs to happen in my house ASAP!

One of (many, many) beer tastings at the San Francisco Craft Beer Week opening night gala! Total beer-gal heaven.

Hey guys! How’s your week going? I am heading to Seattle this weekend to visit my best friend Emily, and I could not be more excited! We have been doing lots of food planning, so stay tuned for an update on Seattle faves next week. I hope you have a fun winter weekend getaway to look forward to, too (even if it’s not exactly to somewhere warm and tropical, like me). Here are this week’s Foodie Favorites!

Cheesy sausage pizza bread just might be making an appearance on Super Bowl Sunday. This looks like heaven!!

These chai cupcakes with brown butter icing just might make a cupcake lover out of me. My two favorite flavors of late!!

Foodie Favorites – January 13, 2016

Wishing I could be back in vacation mode, eating banana pancakes at my all-time favorite brunch place in L.A.! The January post-holiday struggle is way too real, people.

I can’t believe it’s the first Foodie Favorites of 2016! What are your foodie resolutions this year?! I’m not into the whole “cut out sugar/alcohol/everything wonderful in the world” kind of resolutions, but I love setting cooking goals for myself for the year. Last year, my goal was to expand my cooking horizons by making more Asian and Indian food at home, and I think I did a pretty good job! (Highlights of this resolution include these noodles and this curry. SOO GOOD.) This year my foodie resolutions are twofold: to mix-up our weeknight quick and easy dinner routine (I tend to fall back on the same go-to no-brainer recipes week in and week out, and we could use some variety), and to get more comfortable cooking chicken and fish. I will learn how to roast a chicken like Ina Garten, dammit!! I hope you have some lofty kitchen goals in your life, too. Here are this week’s Foodie Favorites!

Holy smokes – 2015 is almost over! I can’t believe it’s time for my annual “best of the year” post. 2015 has been a crazy year – we moved across the country, I started a new job, many wedding to-do’s were completed, and, of course, we ate lots and lots of food.
